Martin R. Taubman, D.P.M.
Dr. Taubman, trained in a landmark 4-year podiatric medical and surgical residency program at Cincinnati General Hospital, has practiced in San Diego since 1978. He was the principal research investigator for multiple studies in advanced wound treatment of diabetic foot ulcerations and post-operative pain control following bunionectomies. In addition to his office and hospital practices, Dr. Taubman also provides podiatry services at the Paradise Valley Hospital Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Oxygen (the South Bay sister-location for UCSD Wound Care Center).His special interests include serious foot pathology including foot deformities, diabetic foot complications, infections, emergency room and in-patient hospital foot care, and reconstructive/salvage foot surgery. Dr. Taubman also provides Workers' Compensation foot evaluations and treatment of work-related foot problems. Dr. Taubman was on the Board of Directors of the California Podiatric Medical Association 1986-1988, and was voted "Podiatrist of the Year," by the members of the San Diego County Podiatric Medical Society in 1990 and again in 2008!
